re: Sunspire Trial

I have taken the mechanics and tactics from Alcast Walkthrough and a Very nice guide of Mechanics on the forums I will be sharing an edited simplified version below, essentially I will be telling you what to do and when but won't spend much time with the whys. These are the tactics we will be using during our events you do not have to read it but you will find it useful if you have an idea what to expect.

Need 2 Tanks, 2 Healers, 8 DDs

Character Requirements 

Normal Difficulty - NONE

Veteran - you will need to CP160+, all characters should have a self heal (Damage shield is not enough) and an execute is highly recommended. Healers - if you have something that gives major vitality this will come in handy. 

Hardmode - 42k DPS (We are only doing VETERAN this is NOT a requirement for our events)

Trashmobs

Normal and above

1 tank takes the 4 legged khajiit and other tank the 2 legged khajiit.

We stack all of them together to kill them with AoE (Area of Effect).

We always kill the 2 legged khajiit called "Akatosh's Fate" first.

Veteran

For trash fights try to stay at range there are a lot of AoE and they hurt being hit by 2 will kill you. 

Lokkestiiz - White Dragon Boss

Normal and above

Main tank stands slightly to the left of the dragons head.

Everyone else stands directly in front of the dragon but not too close to his body. Do NOT stand to the side of the boss or Behind the Main Tank. 

1. Boss shouts in the air and puts a circle on the ground. A DD must run into the circle and the healers will need to rapidly get them back up to full health

2.While flying (80, 50, 25% Health) the Dragon will do a beam across the area you MUST block or Die.

3. Frost and Storm Atronachs are summoned. DD's Only attack the Storm Atronachs these leave a circle of lightning, the other tank must taunt the Frost Atronachs into these circles which destroys them. 

Hardmode

Two circles appear when the boss shouts so 2 DDs need to go in the circle and be healed.

Flame atronachs also appear Other tank should pull that in so the group AoEs them down.

When the boss does the beam you will also have an AoE on your feet (similar to Dragonstar Arena's final boss). you will need to stand close together so the healers can get you BUT not overlap the AoEs. You will need to block and heal during this bit. 

Yolnahkriin - Red/Fire Dragon

Normal and above

Main tank stands slightly to the left of the dragons head.

Everyone else stands directly in front of the dragon in two groups but not too close to his body. Do NOT stand to the side of the boss or Behind the Main Tank.

The other tank will need to taunt the Flame Atronachs and Iron servants away from the group. Try to stand towards the edge of the island with the atronachs in the middle. DD's kill the flame atronachs quickly.

When Flies (75, 50, 25% Health) stand at the edge of the island. and kill the Iron servant Atronach.

DDs & Healers need to stand in 2 groups and to stay with their own group. There is a fiery explosion a bit like Cloudrest where you need the people of your group to stack on you to reduce the damage from it.

Hardmode

Flame atronachs enrage (go blue) if they are not killed quickly and will kill you if they get close. If you get these CC' (Crowd Control) helps but they can't be taunted.

When your group gets the fiery explosion block.

Nahviintaas - Gold/Time Dragon

Normal and above

Main tank stands slightly to the left of the dragons head.

Everyone else stands directly in front of the dragon but not too close to his head. Do NOT stand to the side of the boss or Behind the Main Tank.

When the main Tank sees they are "Marked for Death" the tanks should swap.

1. Kill the adds once they are all dead avoid the AoEs of raining Fire 

2. Boss will do a head swipe either block or stand back out of range.

3. Time Portals - 3 DD's (ideally Stamina with self heals) each go to a portal and use the synergy. You need to kill the add down there as quick as you can. Whilst down there keep an eye out for

 - someone getting pinned use your synergy to release them

 - add charging an attack interrupt them

 - small green AoE's stand in these to get a damage buff for a while and restores your resources. these disappear so use it while you can.

N.B. People upstairs should watch out for Time Stops (like those in the psjiic skill line, a purple/gold bubble) 1 DD should allow themselves to be bubbled as this is what spawns the buff downstairs.

4. At 40% the golden phase happens this is the execute phase. You no longer have to worry about the other tactics.

 - Other Tank needs to pull in the Flame atronachs that spawn to be AoE down

- You will get an AoE on your feet when you do run towards the edge of the platform and stand there until the aoe drops/sticks then rejoin the group

Veteran

After the rain of fire AoE there will be a big fire AoE that fills the platform you need to hide behind the statue

Hard Mode

Boss will cast Defile on your group making heals less effective

The time portal boss now has 11.3m Health and the 3 DD have 90s to kill it or it wipes the group .Each DD will need at least 42k DPS for this O.O

The Vigil statue you hide behind in the fire storm now comes to life and must be tanked. You can only damage the statue when he is throwing rocks at the the group that do increasingly more damage the casting must be interrupted before the 6th wave of rocks or he will kill the group ahhhhh!

 

The Reapers are unlikely to ever do Hard Mode as an event, but I thought I would share the details with you so you know what is involved.
